These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Dorvalix Cloud Infrastructure platform. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using the Dorvalix Cloud Infrastructure services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.
Dorvalix Cloud Infrastructure provides sovereign cloud storage and high-performance computing (HPC) solutions for Canadian research institutions. Our services include secure, climate-controlled data centers, redundant backup systems, and data residency compliance under PIPEDA. We do not guarantee specific uptime percentages unless covered by a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA).
You are responsible for all activity under your account. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, to infringe on intellectual property rights, or to transmit malicious code. You must ensure your data and usage comply with all applicable Canadian laws, including PIPEDA and other data protection regulations.
Fees for services are as specified in your service order. Payments are due as per the invoice terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for non-payment. You may terminate services as per your contract terms. Refunds are only provided where explicitly stated in your agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dorvalix Cloud Infrastructure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the services in the six months preceding the claim.
